With growth comes an impact on our air, water, and environment in general. There is no way for us to escape that. We have a responsibility to ensure that our growth absolutely minimizes the negative impact on our environment.
Smart policies must always be strengthened to clean our air, water, and natural ecosystems. I believe that every year our legislature needs to be doing something to try and get rid of our horrible inversions once and for all.
I believe we can be responsible stewards of our environment at the state level. Removing the oversized influence of industries who tend to be more damaging to our environment through campaign finance and ethics reform will do much to help in this regard.
